CHALLENGE:
- Ashley had recently financed her vehicle with her bank when it was written off in an accident.
- When she came to us she was almost out of time with the rental that her insurance was paying for.
- The one thing that Ashley had in her favor was that she purchased Gap Insurance when she financed her vehicle. Gap Insurance also known as guaranteed auto protection or guaranteed asset protection is additional automobile coverage that protects you in the event of your vehicle being totaled or stolen. It will cover the difference between the actual cash value you receive and how much you owe.
- We worked as quickly as possible to get Ashley into another vehicle. We were able to secure financing for Ashley and found her another vehicle which she liked even better than the previous one. The challenge that we were faced with was being able to finalize the new loan for her while the previous loan was still outstanding. Her insurance paid out the cash value for her vehicle but there was still a balance left . It was going to take some more time for the Gap coverage to be paid out and on top of that her rental coverage was about to end.
SOLUTION:
We covered Ashley’s remaining rental up until her new vehicle was ready, and paid the balance on her loan until she received the difference from her Gap coverage.
RESULTS:
